Messages / History

The Messages/History panel of each file provides access to all your exchanges with the client and shows the step-by-step progress of the request.

On each file, you will find the "Messages / History" panel on the right side of the screen:

This section allows you to view the file history, exchanges with the client, and the documents sent to the client.

⚠️ The exchanges you can find in this section are those made via Backyou portal. Emails sent from your personal address or from the client’s address cannot appear here, unless you have synchronized an email address.

The History section

The history section is displayed in chronological order. You will therefore first see the proposal request, then all events related to the file along with the date and time they occurred and the name of the person who carried them out.

Each event can be expanded to view its details.
You will find the proposal(s) sent to the client, any client requests for modifications or options, changes to quantities, prices, dates, etc.
You will also find the booking conditions acceptance, payment schedule creation, instalment payments, and BEO publication(s).
All previous versions of proposals can be downloaded.

When an event triggers the sending of an email, this email also appears in the history section, along with the date and time it was sent and then delivered.

The Messages section

The messages section allows you to send an email to the client from Backyou account; this email will therefore appear in the message history.

You can choose a message template, send a personalized message with some text editing tools , and add a contact to the request from .
This button allows you to add a new contact to the message in copy, either by choosing a client from your Backyou client database or by creating a new client.

As soon as a so-called secondary contact is created, this secondary contact will be added to the emails sent to the clients if the option is activated.
