How to translate a proposal?

Proposal translations are automatic (based on Backyou's document structure), but you must ensure the translation of your own content (T&Cs, product names and descriptions, custom text).

Translations are automatic in 7 languages: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, and Portuguese.

⚠️ In all cases, if a translation exists in your client's primary language, it will be displayed in the proposal instead of French. Otherwise, the client will see the text in English if available, or in French if not.

Important: Adding a translation or changing a client's language has no retroactive effect — documents already created will not reflect these changes.

To ensure your proposals are fully translated, simply translate each component and configure your client accounts:

Select the client's primary language
