How to manage automatic payment reminders?

Payment reminders can be automatically generated by default in Backyou, based on the payment terms.

Backyou allows automated payment reminders according to the following schedule:

  • 30 days before a due date

  • 15 days before a due date

  • 8 days before a due date

  • 3 days before

  • On the due date, then every two days until the payment is confirmed

For each file, before confirming a booking, a checkbox will appear, giving you the option to enable or disable automated reminders.

You can customise the sending of these reminder emails from Venues > Venue profile > Other settings > Notifications and reminders section.

 

If this option is enabled, the checkbox in each file will be ticked by default. If it is disabled, the checkbox in each file will remain unticked.You can always adjust this choice individually for each file.


⚠️ However, with the option below, you can disable payment reminders after check-in, but it is not possible to re-enable them individually for a file.
