You have the option to manage your Backyou account’s Client records in a differentiated way by applying restrictions to access the shared cardex per venue.
What changes with this option:
Clients section
- For account administrators: Access to the cardex remains global, and they can filter the Client and Company views (and therefore export by venue).

For Hotel Administrator and Hotel Sales roles: Access to the cardex is limited to the venues they are assigned to. They also have the ability to filter the Client and Company views (and therefore export by venue).
Companies section
No changes: users will have read-only access to the full list of companies in the Backyou account, and can see the number of files linked to a company in another venue (without detail).
Feature: “Add a client”
For Hotel Administrator roles: you will be able to choose which venue(s) the newly created client is associated with. This client will then only be visible to users associated with the selected venue(s).
Contact Record Modification: new alert
When updating the contact details of an existing client, please be aware that any changes will be reflected and visible to all users within your Backyou instance.
